Northbridge is one of the best spots to find great food no matter what time of day or night. Everything from wine bars to breakfast haunts line Beaufort St and are dotted among side streets here. One day is never enough for a dedicated foodie, you will be back day after day to try a bit of everything.
Tuck Shop Cafe
While Tuck Shop is famous for its pies, their breakfast menu changes daily and is always one of the best around. All their food is made on-site and their coffee is courtesy of Toby's Estate. Still hungry after breakfast? You can buy a freshly made uncooked pie to take home!
These guys bake their own bread, make their own pastries and donuts, cure their own meats and pickle their own veggies! The breakfast must-have? House-made brioche donuts of course!
Hailed as one of the most instagram-worthy cafes in Perth, it's worth a trip to Kafka for the dip-dyed coffee cups alone. The space doubles as a design studio for Nude Design so grab a breakkie bagel from Perth's own Holy Bagel Company while you peruse the local works.

Chimek began with a stall at the Freo Markets a while ago and have finally brought their incredible fried chicken to the city! Francoforte Spaghetti Bar
You can't beat freshly-made pasta for a warm and homely dinner option. The dishes feature traditional Italian flavours with exciting modern twists. They also do a delicious antipasto platter and traditional Tiramasu for dessert.
Saying goodbye over spaghetti 🍝 I got the Porco Rosso (the one with big meatballs 😋) Loved the dish as it wasn't drowned in too much sauce! Also the pork cheek pasta was a good choice, so flavoursome with a perfect amount of salt 😉 Kale Pesto spaghetti is a great vego choice too or you can have it with chorizo 😏 #farewelldinner #francoforte #spaghettibar #dinewithducie
On the menu at this bar/wine garden/kitchen is everything from small bar bites to full meals fit for the biggest of appetites. The 36-hour pork is a menu standout, and is perfectly matched with a cider or jug of pimms under the summer sun in the 'wine garden' with friends.
Lucky Chan's is a temple of liquid gold (ramen) and is open until 2am so you can enjoy dinner and then some very early breakfast if you really want to. The drinks menu features local wines and beers and some killer cocktails and of course, there is sake galore.
Travel Secret: Lucky Chan's was Perth's first crowdfunded restaurant, most likely the reason the locals love it so much.
Sweets and treats
With so many waffle varieties, you will need to come back here more than once to get the full experience. This is a dessert-must in Northbridge, you can't say no to flavours like Banoffee and peanut butter Oreo crumble! There are also more savory options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Don't be afraid to ask the bar staff for suggestions, they know their gin better than any other.
Northbridge Brewing Company
