Speaking of fuel, the Food Truck Carnival Tour will be making its way around the state this summer, bringing affordable gastronomic glory to hungry bellies everywhere. There’s also live music and roving entertainment so pack the picnic blanket and make the most of it. If you time it right, you might be able to manage both lunch and dinner, ensuring you get to sample the maximum amount of available goodies.
After you've enjoyed a few food truck treats, go on an immersive, interactive journey through the human digestive system at Artplay's Gut Feeling exhibition. Follow the food cycle through a massive inflatable human digestive tract, learning from the inside out! Tickets are $16 and you can book online.
For wet weather entertainment, rally the troops and take them to the indoor climbing paradise that is Clip ‘n Climb. There are 37 climbing challenges to conquer, including a speed wall where you can race each other. The prize? Bragging rights for the summer.
