Willunga Farmers Market
The first farmers market to be established in South Australia is now considered one of the best. 'Meet the grower and taste the region’ is the theme here and the market is held every Saturday in Willunga Town Square. Over 80 stalls sell fresh produce from regional farms as well as Fleurieu Peninsula products. Open every Saturday 8am-12.30pm.
Barossa Farmers Market
Held each Saturday morning in the Vintners Sheds near Angaston, head to this wine region to find food produced and grown locally in the Barossa Valley. Local producers offer their freshest homegrown produce, from fruit and vegetables to meat and free-range eggs, plus preserves, bread and other products. Get in early, the market opens at 7.30am.
Adelaide Showground Farmers Market
Stating at 9am each Sunday, the Showgrounds Farmers Market hosts some of South Australia's best producers including vegetable growers, dairy farmers, livestock producers, fishers, cheese-makers, bakers, and more. Take a leisurely start to your Sunday morning and wander the stalls then take the kids to Kids Club from 10am while you sip on coffee and a pastry.
